Former 'Hawks in ACHA Title Game

Eric Freun, Mitch Venosta, and Mikel Stevens helped lead the San Diego State University Aztecs to the ACHA championship game in Rochester, Minnesota.  The team took second after a losing to Cal of Penn University, 7-3.

It was the second straight appearance by the Aztecs who also won the PCHA title for second year in a row.  The ACHA Division III tournament was held on March 12 - 15.

All three young men were longtime members of the SCVHA.  Congratulations on a valiant effort this past season!

STATE CHAMPIONS!

The SCVHA Bantam A squad took home top honors at the CAHA State Championships on Sunday, April 6, 2008, with a dramatic, come-from-behind overtime win against the Stockton Colts.   Final score:  3-2.
