We had a great turnout for our first Try Hockey for Free event!  There were 35 skaters on the ice, plus Blackhawk players and coaches. All of the kids (and their parents) were smiling and having fun the whole time. It was a fantastic event!

Many of the kids used the sticks that we provided. The coaches provided skating help when needed, and ran skating, passing, and shooting drills.  The kids loved that they got to take a jersey home along with their certificate and stickers. Many parents asked about lessons and the in-house program.

Thanks to the coaches, players, other volunteers, Sharks Ice, and the SCVHA board for making this event possible!
