Code of Conduct

Parents/Spectators & Zero Tolerance Policy

The Santa Clara Blackhawks abide by USA Hockey's Zero Tolerance Policy. This policy requires all players, coaches, officials, team officials and administrators and parents/spectators to maintain a sportsmanlike and educational atmosphere before, during and after all USA Hockey-sanctioned games.

Complaints & Grievances

Complaints and grievances should be presented to your Team Representative.  The Team Representative shall represent your complaints and grievances to the Team Coach.  If the grievance is an issue beyond the authority of the Team Coach, or does not relate to team management, the Team Representative shall forward the grievance to the Club President.

If, within ten (10) days, the Team Representative has not advised the Member of a reply, the Member may appeal in writing to the President.  A member may, within five (5) days of the Team Representative’s reply, appeal in writing to the President.  The President, upon receiving a timely appeal, shall call a meeting of the General Board within ten day to consider the grievance.  The Member may attend that meeting and present his grievance to the General Board.
