After eliminating the California Cougars and the Lake Tahoe Grizzlies, the PeeWees played Santa Rosa in the preliminary game.  The Blackhawks were winning 3-2, but a late goal by Santa Rosa took the game into overtime.  The PeeWees scored, giving them the 4-3 win and forcing the second game for the championship. In their second game of the day, the Blackhawks defeated Santa Rosa 4-2 to win the NORCAL banner.
