Hi Mark...My name is Jim Matthews.. I live in Colorado Springs, CO.  My younger son, Rich, was a mite for SCVHA from 1976 to 1980.  His mite team won the state title in 1980.  I have been looking at your wesite and noticed you have info on former SCVHA players.  Rich is the head trainer for the New Jersey Devils.  He has won two Stanley Cups and has his name on there twice. One with the Dallas Stars in 1997 and one with New Jersey in 2003.  Has been to the finals two other times.  After playing through college at Arizona State University, he decided to put his degree to work on the other side of the bench. Our family had a lot of fun times with the Santa Clara Valley Hockey Association before we moved to Colorado Springs.  Thought you would like to know that the SCVHA has representation on the Stanley Cup.
