Fund-raising activities for SCVHA takes place both at the club level and at the team/individual level.  

CLUB LEVEL Fund-raising: The dues that are assessed each player covers a portion of the ice time for practices and games as well as a portion of the club operating costs.  The balance of these costs are paid through our club level fund-raising activities.   These activities include E-Scrip (click here for more details on the eScrip program), team banner sponsorship, Red and White Game,  poinsettia sale, club merchandise sale,  practice ice raffle, etc. 

TEAM/INDIVIDUAL Fund-raising: Activities may be used at the team’s discretion to fund extra practice time, tournament fees and a social fund.  Teams may also decide to allow individuals to raise funds for dues.  These activities include 50-50 Raffle, candy sales, Skate-a-Thon, jersey sponsorship, and team fund-raising innovations that are approved by the SCVHA Board.
