Blackhawks in
the Swiss Alps!
Over the Christmas break Brennan and
Aidan Powell went back to their mother's home town of Chateau d'Oex,
Switzerland. While they were there the local hockey club, HC
Chateau d'Oex invited the boys to workout with the Squirt and PeeWee
teams. The boys had a lot of fun and where able to make 5 or 6
practices with the teams.

In addition Brennan and Aidan got to
play hours and hours of pond hockey with the local kids. The rink in
Chateau d'Oex is an outdoor uncovered rink which was a totally
different experience for the boys. Local kids meet at the rink
usually around noon on non school days or directly after school on
school days and play pick up hockey until the rink closes or mom
calls them to come home for dinner.

Brennan and Aidan really
enjoyed playing with the club in Chateau d'Oex and they made some great friends
while they were there.
